I am incredibly honoured to announce my role as an ambassador for Miss Black History North East. This platform aligns perfectly with my dedication to empowering African girls and women, showcasing their strengths and abilities beyond mere physical appearance. In a world where social media and societal norms often impose narrow beauty standards, it is crucial to redefine and celebrate what true beauty and success mean for African women.

Taking on the role of ambassador for Miss Black History North East was a decision grounded in my belief in the importance of representation and empowerment. I see how today’s society often pressures young women to conform to unrealistic and narrow beauty standards. This can overshadow the diverse talents, intelligence, and capabilities of African girls and women. Through this platform, the aim is to highlight and celebrate these qualities, offering young women and the youth the recognition and opportunities they deserve.

Empowering girls and women of African descent is essential in today’s world. They face unique challenges and often lack representation in various fields and roles. By showcasing their achievements and fostering an environment where their heritage and talents are celebrated, we can build confidence and pride. Miss Black History North East is dedicated to this mission, promoting a holistic view of beauty that encompasses strength, intelligence, and community spirit.
